Update 3/20/2019: Today, Lister announced a convertible version of its F-Type LFT-666 sports car, called the LFT-C. Like the hardtop, it comes with a 666-horsepower version of Jaguar's supercharged V-8, along with a bunch of cosmetic upgrades, including carbon fiber body panels and a custom leather interior. Just 10 examples will be built, priced from £139,000 (around $183,000). Lister Cars, the British race car company famous for fielding some of the coolest competition cars of the 1950s, has just revealed the LFT-666. It's a customized Jaguar F-Type with 666 horsepower, a top speed of 208 mph, and more bespoke pieces than you can count.
The LFT-666 is based off the Jaguar F-Type R, using that model's supercharged 5.0-liter V8 under the hood. Thanks to that devilish horsepower number and 713 lb.-ft. of torque, 0-60 comes in a scant 3.1 seconds. The eight-speed transmission found in the F-Type remains in place.
On the outside you'll find Lister-specific adjustable dampers, a lightweight exhaust, 22-inch wheels, custom badging, and that signature green grille outline. Inside you get hand-stitched Nappa leather and embroidered headrests.
The company's only building 99 examples, so if you want one, you better get your order in fast.
