It seems every time Ferrari comes out with a new front-engine V12 GT car, it can't get any better. But then a new one comes out, and somehow, engineers have improved on the last car. The 812 Superfast is the latest from Maranello, and—yep, you guess it—it's incredible to drive.
Henry Catchpole from was able to get behind the wheel of an 812 in Italy for a short period time to find out how much Ferrari have upgraded from the already-fantastic F12 Berlinetta. Turns out, there's a whole bunch of new stuff.
Along with the questionable looks, the suspension, steering, and drivetrain have been completely refreshed. The 812 has better damping settings, a quicker, more precise rack, and 60 more horsepower from that lovely 6.5-liter V12 (which revs all the way to 8900 rpm, by the way).
But that stuff is just the tip of the iceberg for the 812. Take a few minutes to see what else Catchpole has to add.
