The New Stratos Getting Dyno-Tested Is the Best Thing You'll Hear All Day

A Ferrari V8 is the perfect match for this thing.

We were ecstatic to hear when the new Stratos was approved for production back in Feburary. We were even more excited when we got up close and personal with one of the test cars during Pebble Beach car week.

Unlike the original Stratos, which used a Dino-sourced V6, this new one uses the engine (and chassis) from a Ferrari F430. That means a naturally aspirated V8 that sounds just wonderful. Sadly, because the car is still under development, engineers weren't ready to share power numbers from this dyno run. But at least we still get to hear the car at full tilt, which is really all that matters.
