The current (E63/E64, the "64" representing the convertible version) has been on the market since 2004. Although it's an excellent-driving, large grand touring machine, it's most notable at the moment for being the last holdout in BMW's lineup from the "Bangle-Butt" era (so named for BMW's former chief designer, Chris Bangle, who some feel tarnished The Ultimate Driving Machine's styling for many years). And no BMW model has exemplified Bangle's bulbous trunk philosophy more than the 2004-2010 6 Series.
Since 2010 marks the seventh year for the big coupe, it's about time for an all-new version. And the spy photos captured here prove, indeed, that is hard at work bringing the 6 in line with the rest of the BMW clan. (Read More)
