Lots of new cars have plastic covers that hide engines from sight. Others have their motors proudly on display. Which new car engine do you think looks the coolest?
Personally, I think the engine in the Ferrari 812 Superfast is stunning. Unlike most engine bays, which are covered in acres of cheaply made covers, the 812's 6.5-liter V12 is put prominently on display. Sure, there's still a bunch of plastic, but the intake plenums are painted in red, as are the valve covers. It's not just great to listen to, it's great to look at.
Now we'd like to know: Which engine do you think looks the coolest? Your choice doesn't have to be anything exotic like the 812's engine bay, either—it just has to be an engine from a new car that you love. Let us know in the comments below.
