Andy Palmer, President and CEO of Aston Martin Lagonda, revealed via Twitter today his company will strip Valkyrie reservations for those planning on flipping the $3.2-million hypercar. Palmer added that if a car is flipped after purchase, the flipper will be banned from purchasing future Aston Martin special edition cars.
The Valkyrie is Aston's newest flagship, equipped with a wild 1130-horsepower V12 hybrid powertrain, tons of aero, and mind-boggling performance. Only 175 cars will be produced, making it highly desirable. One Aston fan pointed out to Palmer that a "build slot" for a Valkyrie has come up for sale , and he didn't seem too pleased.
Porsche GT boss Andreas Preuninger regarding his company's cars, so it's good to see more and more manufacturers stepping up against people who would rather make a quick profit than enjoy their special machines.
Nice job Aston.
