The next-generation Aston Martin V8 Vantage has been running around in camouflage, teasing looks that strongly resemble the DB10 designed specially for the James Bond film Spectre. Now, spy video shows it tearing up the Nurburgring, looking fast and sounding serious.
brings us this brief glimpse of the new Vantage in action at the Green Hell. When it's not contending with traffic (an SUV, no less), it looks like it's carrying some serious speed around the famed German track.
As part of Aston's new partnership with Mercedes-AMG, we suspect the Vantage will use a version of AMG's 4.0-liter twin-turbo V8, available with a manual or automatic transmission. And that's about all we know—Aston has been cagey about this upcoming sports coupe, keeping it well-camouflaged and staying silent on the details so far.
But we like what we see here: A quick, poised sports coupe with stellar proportions, hauling it at the 'Ring. We can't wait to learn more.
