How Would You Order a Porsche 911 GT3 RS?

Ours would be orange. Very orange.

Porsche just put up for the new 911 GT3 RS, and naturally, that has us daydreaming about our perfect spec for this new track weapon. And of course, we're curious about how you'd order yours, so we've opened up the comments for your suggestions.

But first, mine. As you can see, it's orange, Lava Orange to be specific. The shade of green Porsche launched the new GT3 RS is totally lovely, but I think orange just suits this car so well, especially with the "GT3 RS" script above the side sills. The only other visual option I'd chose are satin platinum wheels.

For performance options, I'd definitely get carbon-ceramic brakes, which are expensive at over $9000, but seem necessary for a track car like this, and a front-axle lift system. That splitter is very low, so the lift also feels essential.

Now, I'm torn on the Weissach Package. It brings 13.4 lbs of weight savings, but it comes at a cost of $18,000. Eventually, you'll be able to order ultra-light magnesium wheels with the Weissach pack, but those will cost an extra $13,0o0. I'd say save the money for tires and track days.

Beyond all that, I'd keep things simple. No leather interior, no fancy luxuries. This is a GT3 RS, after all—it doesn't need any fancy equipment.

So that's mine, but what would your GT3 RS look like? Head over to , and post a picture in the comments.
