Aston Martin will build 150 road-going Valkyries, and 25 AMR Pro track specials. All will be powered by Cosworth's crazy naturally-aspirated V12, yet if you intend to find your perfect hypercar between the two variants, the road-legal Valkyrie AMR Track Performance Pack might just be your ticket.
Equipped with this option, Aston Martin promises up to eight percent quicker lap times over the standard Valkyrie, thanks to a short list of interchangeable track-only components, starting with a high-downforce front clam. With that, AMR also throws in lightweight titanium brake calipers, a full race suspension, an extra set of exterior body panels, and a matte black magnesium wheel set with carbon-fiber aero-disks. Here's how all that looks on a Valkyrie, specified by Aston CEO Andy Palmer:
Of course Aston's Q Division doesn't stop there. Valkyrie customers can get exposed and/or tinted carbon fiber panels, woven leather trim or even a 'Gold Pack,' which includes a 24-carat gold leaf exterior livery, a gold-plated stainless steel badge, a gold anodized oil filler cap, and equally golden interior bits, like the anodized aluminum detailing on the steering wheel. Seen here on the "Mantis" edition:
As you'd expect at this level, there are no limits when it comes to customization. Each Valkyrie will be unique, and rather hard to catch, with or without the AMR Track Performance Pack.
