A new Porsche 911 is out, so you know what that means, right? Yep, a seemingly unending amount of different trims, engine choices, and body styles for buyers to choose from. The only official variants out so far are the Carrera and Carrera S coupe and Cabriolet. Now, thanks to spy video shot at the Nurburgring, we get to see the Targa version for the first time.

From the looks of it, the new 992 version of the Targa will use a similar power-folding mechanism as the one found in the 991. That means the rear glass will lift up to receive the movable soft top, which is stored behind the rear seats when not in use.

It's not clear when Porsche will deburt the 992 Targa, though judging by how production-ready this car looks, we'd say it won't be long from now. In the meantime, check it out flying through the Green Hell.
