The , created by pro drifter Vaughn Gittin Jr., is a dealer-installed package that combines a slick-looking visual overall with a number of go-fast mods scooped from the Ford Racing Performance Parts catalog. The end result is a meaner-looking pony that oozes muscle and sports abundant drift-car attitude. With the arrival of the all-new 2015 Ford Mustang, a new RTR was sure to follow. For 2015, it appears that the Spec 1 cars will be available with 4-cylinder EcoBoost or 5.0-liter V8 power. If the 2014 Mustang RTR serves as a guide, the Spec 2 cars (shown>, which get more go-fast enhancements, will be V8-only. In addition to expanding the network of Ford Dealers offering complete Mustang RTRs, Gittin says that, for the first time, all RTR components will be available a la carte, so 2015 Mustang owners can build out their own versions to whatever degree they wish.
