Haven't you always wanted to ride along with an automotive journalist in a brand new supercar blasting up an Italian mountain road? Now's your chance, because put together an awesome, 360-degree video of his Ferrari GTC4Lusso review. It's almost like being there!
The GTC4Lusso is Ferrari's newest car, replacing the unusual Ferrari FF. The Lusso, like the FF, has all-wheel-drive, a naturally-aspirated V12, and a convenient (for a Ferrari) shooting brake design. The GTC4Lusso has a refreshed exterior, improved interior, and 30 more horsepower than the FF that preceded it.
Karotta's video is unique in that it captures a full 360 degrees around the cabin, allowing you to watch the action from any angle. To make a video like this happen, Karotta had to custom 3D-print two camera rigs, which held no less than 14 individual GoPros.
Karotta says the best way to watch the Lusso review is in virtual reality, but if you don't have a VR headset at the ready, the video still works well on YouTube on your computer or phone.
The video has a bunch of interesting angles, so you can really immerse yourself in the GTC4Lusso driving experience. Take a look for yourself.
