Sadly, very few new supercars get used the way they were designed. Most owners tuck them away in climate-controlled garages, only driving them to the nearest Cars & Coffee event. Fortunately for us, some owners like to use their cars as intended, like this owner of a brand-new McLaren 675LT who wasted no time hitting the Nurburgring. And thanks to this video, we can ride along.
This owner decided to bring out his 675LT to one of the Nurburgring's famous "Touristenfahrten," or tourist sessions, where anyone with a car and around 30 Euros can show up and pay for a lap. On days with good weather, there can be dozens of cars scattered throughout the 12.9-mile circuit at any given time, meaning lots of traffic.
That didn't deter this owner, who went all-out on the course, zig-zagging through slower cars and crowded corners.. YouTuber got the chance to hop in the passenger seat during the McLaren's lap, giving us an in-car view as he flies through the Green Hell. Watch it here, and keep the sound turned up.
And for those asking: We have no idea why there's a baby in the passenger seat in the thumbnail of the video. The child, and the child's seat, don't appear anywhere in the video itself. Here's hoping dad was going slow while kiddo was strapped inside.
