Mark Brown, owner of this tastefully modified M3, understands his car was never meant to sit in a garage and collect dust (as many other first-gen M3s now do). He's turned it into a street-legal track car to compete in hillclimbs, track days, and other events—exactly what it was designed to do back in the 1980s.
