Ken Block, famous rallycross driver and Gymkhana master, is returning to the World Rally Championship for the first time since 2014. In preparation for his first race, he and his teammate, Alex Gelsomino, are doing some testing in their new M-Sport Ford Fiesta WRC race car. It looks like they're having a lot of fun.
Block's team held two test sessions recently on closed roads in Spain to help the driver duo get used to the car's capabilities ahead of Rally de Catalunya, set to take place next weekend. Despite this being his first time in the car, Block has no problem taking jumps and getting incredibly sideways through turns.
Block that while his time behind the wheel didn't provide "remotely enough testing to be competitive," he's still looking forward to racing on some of Spain's finest back roads. We're just as excited to watch him do it.
