Bugatti isn't shy when it comes to teasing us with details about the Chiron, the Veyron's successor, but this latest report might (or might not) deter some folks.
reports a standard Chiron's sticker price at nearly $2.5 million. Future iterations (roadsters and other special editions) are expected only to raise that figure.
Named after a famous Bugatti racer, Louis Chiron, the Bugatti Chiron has some pretty game-changing specs: 1,480 bhp and 1106 lb.-ft. of torque from a quad-turbo 8.0 liter W16. Top speed is a projected 288 MPH. Production numbers are expected to increase, as well: Bugatti plans to build 500 Chirons.
We'll see exactly what Bugatti has hatched after the Chiron is unveiled. But as for Ferrari, Porsche, and McLaren? Consider these figures as shots fired.
